Lovemore Masunungure, the founder of Vhayeya.com, is overjoyed by the outpouring of support he has received and is pleased that the platform is now available on all major online platforms.

In an interview with vhayeya.com, Masunungure said that the platform will be launched with the aim of sharing positive stories about Africa and Zimbabwe, and they believe that people will join them on this journey.

“With the launch of the online platform, we hope to share positive stories about Africa, Zimbabwe, and the people of Zimbabwe.

“We believe that this journey will be one that people will join us on.

“Vhayeya is a homegrown media institution that will share developmental programmes and initiatives to help Zimbabwe achieve its Vision 2030 goals and beyond, working with the government and all Zimbabweans to create a brighter future,” Masunungure said.

Masunungure stated that Vhayeya.com was initially created to connect with the Chikomba East constituency, but has since grown to reach a national audience.

“Vhayeya started as a way to communicate with the Chikomba East constituency where I serve as the Constituency Coordinator for Hon Mhona, the area’s MP.

“As time went on and with the support of Hon Mhona and other stakeholders, Vhayeya has grown and I am very grateful for their support,”
Masunungure said.

Furthermore, Masunungure expressed his gratitude to the Vhayeya Production team for their hard work and dedication.

“I want to give a special thanks to the Broadcasting team, Production team, and crew members for volunteering their time and energy to help us tell the Zimbabwean story.

“Vhayeya’s focus is on reporting the stories of villages across Zimbabwe, because we believe that every person has a connection to a village, and that village deserves to have its stories told,” said Masunungure.

According to Mr Masunungure, the launch of the Vhayeya platform is an invitation for everyone to participate and provide feedback on the news shared, to ensure that it is relevant to communities in Zimbabwe.

Masunungure closed by thanking Mr Kudzai Majoni Choto for his invaluable assistance to Vhayeya.

“We are particularly grateful for the support of Mr Kudzai Choto, the Personal Assistant to the Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, who has provided inspiration and motivation to the Vhayeya team since its inception,” said Masunungure.

Lastly, Masunungure expressed his gratitude to the many listeners in the diaspora who have offered encouragement and support in Vhayeya’s mission to share the real stories of Zimbabwe, in line with the country’s development agenda set out by President Mnangagwa.

“I want to thank all our listeners from the diaspora for the encouragement you’ve given us.

“We are here to share real stories about Zimbabwe and its development agenda.

“I hope that you continue to support us in our journey to achieve the President’s vision for a middle-class economy by 2030,” he said.

He encouraged followers to join Vhayeya.com’s WhatsApp groups, like their Facebook page, subscribe to their YouTube channel, and visit their website at www.vhayeya.com for more news updates.
