The 2026 Chibuku Super Cup is heading into its decisive stage, with four teams set to battle for places in the final of Zimbabwe’s premier knockout football competition.
The semi-finals will see traditional giants Highlanders and CAPS United clash for a place in the final, while Hardrock FC face FC Hunters in the other encounter.
The matches are scheduled for the weekend of October 31 to November 1, 2026.
The first semi-final will see Harare giants CAPS United face Bulawayo-based Highlanders.
Highlanders secured their place in the last four after overcoming MWOS in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw in regulation time, while CAPS United also progressed after defeating ZPC Kariba on penalties.
The encounter is expected to be closely contested, with both sides targeting a place in the final and an opportunity to finish the season with silverware.
CAPS United will head into the match with confidence after completing a league double over Highlanders this season.
Bosso, however, will be hoping to produce a different result in the cup competition.
Highlanders are also the only remaining semi-finalists to have previously won the Chibuku Super Cup in its current format.
For CAPS United coach Takesure Chiragwi, reaching the final would be a significant achievement as the Green Machine continue their pursuit of silverware.
The other semi-final will pit Hardrock FC against FC Hunters, with both sides aiming to reach the final after impressive cup runs.
Hardrock secured their place in the last four after producing one of the biggest upsets of the quarter-final stage, defeating reigning Zimbabwean champions Scottland FC 1-0 at Rufaro Stadium.
Neliswa Dlamini scored the decisive goal in the 15th minute to send the Kwekwe-based side into the semi-finals.
FC Hunters, meanwhile, eliminated defending champions Dynamos after winning their quarter-final tie through a penalty shootout.
The encounter gives both teams an opportunity to reach the final and further enhance their reputation in Zimbabwean football.
Hardrock will look to build on their defensive performance against Scottland, while Hunters will draw confidence from their ability to handle pressure in knockout football.
With all four teams now one match away from the final, the semi-finals are expected to produce highly competitive encounters as the 2026 Chibuku Super Cup enters its decisive stage.
