The National Handling Services (NHS) Board has officially announced the appointment of Mr Phillip Rambakudzibwa as the substantive Chief Executive Officer, effective 25 November 2025.
NHS announced Mr Rambakudzibwa’s appointment in a Press Statement yesterday.
Mr Rambakudzibwa, who has served as Acting CEO for the past year, will report directly to the NHS Board.
According to the statement, Mr Rambakudzibwa has vast experience in ground handling management making him the right person for the job.
“Mr. Rambakudzibwa assumes this role with over a decade of experience and a proven track record in ground handling management.
“He has served as Acting Chief Executive Officer at NHS for the past year, bringing deep institutional memory, knowledge and leadership expertise.
“The NHS Board expresses confidence that Mr. Rambakudzibwa’s leadership will drive operational excellence and strategic growth for the organization,” said Adv. G. Nyengedza, Chairman of the NHS Board, in a statement.
The Board and staff extended congratulations to Mr. Rambakudzibwa and called on all stakeholders to support him as he assumes his new responsibilities.
The National Handling Services is a parastatal in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development.
